Another brilliant Agatha Raisin book by the extrememly talented M.C Beaton. I (once again) could not figure out who had done it and when I did guess I got it wrong. It is brilliantly well written and keeps you wanting to read on to find out the ending. Would recommend to readers who have read other M.C Beaton books and who enjoy 'who done it' books. A truly brilliant read. In this book Agatha Rasin is called in to investigate when widow Mary is found hanging, during the investigation she uncovers a web of deciet, murder, sex and money.

I found this short novella on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a try. I thought that this was a rather sweet story with friends becoming lovers, it was a little bit predictable in certain areas and the tempo of the book didn't keep the same throughout it, it did have dull/boring moments. I dont think it would have worked as a full length novel as I feel there would be quite alot of dull moments, also this book needs to be brought upto date as there are a few terms that people just do not use anymore. But it was an okay quick read for if you have nothing to do.

I think that the Rizzoli & Isles series is one of the best there is. It is incredibly well written which captures the readers attention and keeps hold of it, it pace of the book keeps up all the way through meaning that there isn't a dull moment. This is the 9th book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone book you don't have to read the whole series in order. It is a great thriller that will make you end up gripping hold of the book wondering what will happen next and if Rizzoli & Isles will solve the case. A really great book to read with great characters and descriptions.

I thought this was a really good thriller book that was very well written by Eva Hudon, I love thriller books and this one didn't disappoint me, like alot of thrillers it was abit predicatable in places but it was still a very great read. It is obvious that Eva Hudson is a really great and talented author, the pace in the book is kept up throughout the novel, it did take me a little while to get into the story, but once I did I thought it was a very good thriller novels, if you can't get into this book i suggest you persist alittle longer.

This is a short little novella that I found on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a try. Two of my favourite genres.... thriller and romance...could this book manage to pull it off??

In my opinion it didn't pull it off very well, with it been a short story the ending of the book felt like the author had just rushed it, you didn't really get to know the characters, there wasn't much depth to the story (some short stories can have depth too them), it might have worked better as a full length novel rather than a novella. However dispite all of this I did enjoy reading itamd think it is a good read.

I found on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought I would give it a try. I thought that this was a really well written trio that kept hold of my attention, I wouldn't recommend that young readers read this as there are so quite steamy parts in it, it will definately get you abit under the coller. If hot cowboys are your kind of thing that you should definately give this book a read! It makes you want to go to Texas straight away especially if the males are like they are in this book. It is one that will get you drawn into the adventure and the characters as they are very well describe and add good depth to it.

I got this book after watching the series, it's interesting to see the food that other people eat in the world. It has some very good and tasty recipes that are full of flavour and very easy to follow. In this book it shows you how to make the bold flavours of the asia continent, even if you have never tried asian food before this is a great place to start there is bound to be something in it that you fancy trying, the food is full of flavour that will open up your tastebuds and satisfy your grumbling tummy. I absolutely love this book and found it very easy to follow and understand and the ingredients that are used are also easy to find in local supermarkets and not expensive to buy.

This is another great addition to the Thomas Chaloner series. In this book Thomas returns back to London where within hours he is thinking about the thefts that have being going on and soon gets dragged into more investigations that involves many things such as threats and stolen corpses. It is full of twists and turns that compell the reader to keep turning the pages to find out where it is going to go next.
Susanna Gregory writes in such a way that the reader feels like they are actually there going on the investigation with Thomas Chaloner, the way she describes the characters and the setting/surroundings paints a very vivid image into the mind of the reader making it more realistic. This is a perfect book for fans of mysteries set in Restoration London

I found this short novella on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a try.I love these kinds of books normally.When I was reading it, it did keep my attention and take my mind/imagination into the world it created, it was wel written by Michael Stark and I think it is a good book for people who likes fantasy books however I am not sure if I would have got it if it hadn't been free. It is part 3 of The Island series, there was a certain part in this one that I found to be rather predictive and it seemed more like the author couldnt be bothered to think of anything else so put the first thing he thought. Alot of people did really enjoy the series so it might just be me that didn't particularly enjoy it so I would suggest you give it a go and see what you think of it.

One of the most memorable books I have read. I found it fast paced and it kept my attention. I would reccommend this book to anyone who enjoys thrillers. However I didnt think the ending of the book was very good it left alot of things unanswered. When I started reading this book that was a big hype about it saying it was the best book and generally I end up not liking the book as much however that didnt happen with this book, I was completely hooked on it, it took me about 3days to read the whole lot. Nick and Amy Dunne are really amazing characters and the detail and description that Gillian Flynn gives them and the surroundings creates the images in your mind so you can picture exactly what is happening. This book is full of unexpected twists and turns that will makes your mind work 10times faster to try think what might happen next.

I found this book on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give this a go. This is a pretty good thriller book that keeps you entertained throughout. I have the Kindle version which has a few spelling mistakes and grammer problems. This book works just as well if you read it alone or in the series. The characters were interesting and the storyline kept you reading on to find out what would happen next. The author described the characters in good detail which helped to relate to the characters especially Josh who is the main character as instead of a confident bigheaded male lead, this one is actually pretty terrible when it comes to women which makes a nice change as he seems more vulnerable. It is a very gripping thriller that isn't too overly complicated and is easy to read, I would definately recommend giving it a go.

I LOVE Lindsey Kelk! The 'I Heart' series is one of the best series that I have read. In this book we follow the main character of the series, Angela Clark to the wonderful land of Hollywood! She is join by her dreamy sexy boyfriend Alex Reid and her crazy funny best friend Jenny Lopez. The characters are amazing they are described so well that it feels like you actually know them, they are the kind of people that would make a great night out, one to remember. The book is very well written in the unique style of Lindsey Kelk that draws you into the book, keeps hold of your attention and by describing the setting so well it feels like you are there and also makes you want to fly there straight away. Something that is unique to her books is that at the back there is a guide to the best shops and places to go in Hollywood. I love the adventure we go on in this book and how we find out more about Angela Clark as we watch her make some hard life decisions.

I thought that this was a really really great book, it is the first book that I have read by Jeffrey Deaver and it most certainly will not be the last. Kathryn Dance was a really great character, she was interesting and wasn't like other Special Agents I have read in books, the way her mind works and the way she works things out draws you into the book. It has a fast tempo that is kept up throughout the book, there are plenty of twists and turns as soon as you think you know what will happen next there is a twist in the book that throws you off course.
It kept me hooked onto it and the hours just flew by while i was reading it. I will definately be reading more books in the Kathryn Dance series as well as other of his books. It was incredibly well writen and the descriptions of the characters and their lives made them seem very beliveable.

Oh I love the 'I Heart' series of books, each of them are amazing and this one does not disappoint! This is the first book that appears in the series where we meet the character of Angela Clark who is funny, relatable, very likeable. In this book Angela moves to New York after she flee's from her wedding, where she meet her new best friend Jenny Lopez (who is the girl you wish was your best friend!) who helps her out about all things New York and before Angela knows it she is dating two (very sexy) men!
This book is incredibly well written I love the writing style, the way she can draw the reader into the book and make it feel like the characters are real and that it is actually happening. The descriptions of the characters make them feel very life like and adds a great depth to the book. The description of New York really does just make you want to take off on a planen and go there straight away! I also love the added bit at the back of the book of great places to go in New York which makes it not only an amazing book but also a great little travel guide! This is definately a must read for fans of chick lit novels.

William Boyd is a very good and talented author and I think he did a brilliant job with this book. It was compeling, keeps your attention, the storyline is also very good. I think that people who enjoy the original Ian Fleming James Bond books will enjoy this book as well. As I love James Bond I was abit sceptical about reading a 'James Bond' book not written by Iam Fleming, but I must admit I really really enjoyed reading this book. It was packed full of action that was described in amazing detail it felt like you were actually there with them. It is a seriously good read and a refreshing one, with the writing style of William Boyd coming through as a unique writer who isn't trying to be Ian Fleming.

I received this book for free through GoodReads FirstReads competitions.

I thought that this was an incredible book to read, it immediately grabbed hold of my attention and just refused to let it go! This is a truly great psychological fiction novel that will get your brain and imagination running, it is sure to expand your imagination and make your literature love grow even more! This is the first book I have read by this author but I will definitely be reading more from this author!
After her father's murder, Emily Quinns finds herself in a jail cell being charged with first degree murder, which she has absolutely no recollection about! She is shunned by her mother and hires a psychiatrist in order to protect the family name, the psychiatrist soon becomes sympathetic towards Emily and he is determined to find out the reason behind why she tries to embody the characters she has created in her scrapbook. Through trying to find out the reasons behind the way Emily behaves, they uncover lots of family secrets that have been hidden well until now that is, secrets of violence and abuse!
This book is brilliantly written, and the character of Emily Quinn really causes the reader to have lots of sympathy towards her, you really feel for her and want the doctor to find out what is causing her to want to embody the characters that she has created herself in her scrapbook. When you are reading this book it is more like it is a real life story rather then a fiction book, I would definitely recommend this book to readers over 13 years old, and to anybody who enjoys reading books that really get into your mind and brain.

This was a very intriguing book, full of mystery and secrets. It took about 2pages to get into the story and get hooked on it, it was fast paced and kept you wondering what the 'unholy book of mischief' was about. It was brilliantly written and you learn alot from the book. The books it's self is like a book of unholy mischief. I would recommend it for anybody who likes books full of mystery, secrets, intrigue and adventure. You feel like your in the book and doing what they are doing with the great description of the setting, surroundings and characters you feel like you know them all.
I couldn't put this book down at all! I thought it was absolutely amazing and when I did put it down between chapters it was still on my mind, the characters are amazing, very well described and fit perfectly in the story and setting. I would recommend this book to anybody who is wanting to try this genre out, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I cant fault this book at all.
This book is set in 1498, it features a orphan boy called Luciano who is chosen to be an apprentice chef at the doge's palace. He goes from living on the streets of Venice scrounging for food and causing mischief, to helping in the doge's palace, this gives the book a feel good factor straight away as you already feel happy for Luciano. While he is learning the art of cooking he suddenly finds himself on the hunt with his maestro for an ancient tomb. but is the head chef hiding important information from him? This book is full of mystery, twists and turns, and a little hint of romance!
This is by far one of the best books I have ever read, I am so glad that I managed to come across this book and I would definitely look out for more books by Elle Newmark

I thought that this is a very inspiring and charming book too read. It manages too be mystical and also very pragmatic, it offers advice that applies too anyone who is thinking of, or is currently embarking on a creative pursuit, whether it be for your own fun or to make a living, this book is full of advice for you that can help you with it. This book is not a 'self-help' type of book but rather a series of essays on some of the challenges that are involved when you are on a creative pursuit.
I did really enjoy reading this book and I thought that it had a lot of good points and advice that could help a lot of people in what they are doing. The first couple of paragraphs feel to read more like magic realism but as the book goes on to become more down-to-earth and sensible. I would recommend this book to anyone who is needing some advice to help them with their creativity.

This is another amazing book in the Discworld series (number 35), in this book we meet the character Tiffany Aching. She is a really wonderful, likeable and funny character who adds a great amount of fun to the novel. In this book we go on the adventure with her when the spirit of winter (the wintersmith) falls in love with her! If she doesnt figure out a way to deal with him there will never be spring again, however she gets the help of the Nac Mac Feegles (whether she wants it or not!), they are determined to help her out.
Terry Pratchett describes the characters in such great detail that you feel like they are actually real, the Nac Mac Feegles are so funny they will definately have you laughing! The way he describes the setting of the world they are in makes you feel like you are there with them, like it is a real place. It has great depth too it, it is a really good book to read and got lost it. It is one that is classed as 'young adult' but I think it doesn't matter what age you are when reading this book you will still enjoy it just as much!
