I received a copy of this book for free through GoodReads FirstReads competitions.

When I first read the blurb of this book I couldn't wait to read it as it sounded like my kind of book, however when I started to read the book I was completely lost! It did all become a bit clearer as the book went on, but because it wasn't a very clear beginning it made me want to continue reading to find out what had happened and what the reason was behind Franks death (Alex's brother).
There wasn't any part of the book where I didn't want to continue or found it a bit boring or obvious to read. I thought it was a really good thriller that kept my attention throughout the novel and managed to keep a good pace throughout. If you enjoy reading fast paced books that will pass the hours by then this is going to be a great book for you! The writing style of Tim Tigner is very good and the description he uses reading makes the book come to life in your mind so you can actually see it happening in your imagination.
I very much enjoyed this book and I would love to read more books by Tim Tigner!

I thought that this book was very clever and a very unique storyline which I haven't read in another book before. I really enjoyed the writing style of James Calum Campbell, I found it to be a breath of fresh air, the words he used in his description really made my mind expand and made my imagination wonder into the world he wants the reader to experience. I have never read a book by this author but I will definitely be looking out for more books by him!
It is the type of book where it grabs your attention straight away and just doesn't let it go, it is a page turner, compelling, interesting, entertaining, has many twist and turns to keep your mind trying to think ahead of the author only for him to change direction completely. I really thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who was thinking of giving this book a read!

An absolutely amazing book written by John Paul Bernett who is a brilliant author. This book is part of the ' The Reaper' series. It was a thrilling and gripping book which was extremely hard to put down. The author manages to capture the characters and portray them into your imagation drawing you further into the book. It is a good and fast paced storyline which grabs your attention from the very start. I would recommend this book to pretty much anybody, it's a book that doesn't disappoint at all. I can't wait for more additions to this amazing series!

Review: Genesis

This is a rather short book (72 pages) however it doesn't stop it from being a really great read! It is a dark fantasy novel that draws you into the world that the author has created, the description that E.J Taylor uses really brings your imagination alive and makes you imagine the world that the main character is seeing.
A lot of the chapters didn't really seem to connect to one another which made the book a little hard to read as there wasn't a flow throughout the book. If the book was a little bit longer I would have liked to known more of the world that the character was in, have explored it more so that I could have imagined it further and have been deeper into the book while reading it.
The only comment I have to make about this book is that I wish it was a longer book as I feel like it could have gone a lot further and that the author could have expanded more on the characters and the world, but overall I really enjoyed reading the book.

I received a copy of this novel thats to the amazing author in exchange for my honest review so....here is my review!

First of all I really love this novel! I felt so honoured to be able to get the change to read this book and I just couldn't wait to dive straight into the novel. The book is really brilliantly written, it keeps up a good pace throughout the novel which makes it easy to keep hold of the readers attention, keep them hooked on the novel and the characters. This is a brilliant debut novel written by a talented writter. All of the characters add something to the novel, there isn't any background characters, they all add to helping the reader imagine the surroundings, setting and characters that are featured in the book.
The character of Jon Fixx is one that is easy to get on with, and you want to know more about him which you do throughout the novel which adds depth to the book as it makes the reader feel like they really know Jon Fixx, he is the kind of character that you can vividly imagine in your mind...or even imagine being on the big screen one day!. It is the type of book that makes you want to read it and read it and not have to be away from it.
The novel has an unexpected twist of having the mob and FBI involved in it aswell, these little twist and turns also adds to the reader wanting to keep reading as you dont know where the author is going to take the story next. Even though it does have all of the points of a great crime novel...it doesnt mean that it makes it a predictable book to read. The only bad thing I have to say about this book that it finished! I could happily read many more books featuring the wonderful character Jon Fixx and I hope to read more books from this author one day.

I thought this book was expertly written by a clearly very talented author, as soon as it came through my door I just couldn't wait to start to read it. The character that is predominately featured in this book is a girl called Grace Lively who has been greatly changed by the events of the previous two years when The Great War took her father from her and also took her lover from her. Things start to get complicated when she returns to her fathers plantation with her new husband and meets her ex lovers best friend who she quickly falls in love with... just as her husband has been murdered!
This is a brilliant book that will grip hold of your attention and will refuse to let go of it. This is the first book that I have read by this author but it will definitely not be the last one I read by her, the description and the words that she uses just opens up your imagination and lets you live the book in your mind.

I found this novel on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a go. I thought that this was a very good read, it kept hold of the readers attention all the way through. Having read quite a few romantic novels some of them end up becoming rather predictable and boring but this book was one that was hard to predict which made it for me to feel unique and not like the other books that I have read previously. The characters of Mary and Tom are really great and the descriptions that the author does of them makes them seem relateable and realistic.

I found this set of novels on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give them a go. I really enjoyed reading all three of the novels, I don't read many historical novels like this one but when I read the storyline at the back I just knew that it would be a good read and I was right about that. It was very well written with a few little spelling mistakes (which I expect when reading a Kindle version).
The first book is called Cat & Mouse in which a British Suffragette called Sarah Becket who faces a prison term for demonstating womens right to vote. The secone book is called The Blood upon the Rose in which a young Irish medical student Catherine O' Connell-Gort who fights for the end of the British rule in Ireland. She has to choose between her family and her lover (a young IRA volunteer), her country or her class. The third book is called In the Monmouth Summer in which young Ann Carter is torn by similar choice to Catherine O'Connell-Gort. It is set in 1685 where the Puritans rise up in revolt in the support of the Duke of Monmouth against King James II (the Catholic King of England)
These are great books for fans of historical novels as they have been really well researched by the author, the characters are fictional but the events that they are involved in are all true, and the choices that all three women had to make were exactly the type of ones some women at that time would also have to face.

I found this novel on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a try. This novel is a lighthearted and fun story to read, it isn't serious and has a few funny moments in it. The main character Mia is very well developed and described in this book (which can be read as a stand alone book) and her group of friends are all very likeable and relateable. It is a rather girly book, which does contain some real life situations that some might be able to relate too.

I was drawn to this book by its cover and the fact that it was set in the 1640s, prior to the Great Fire of London, a period of history I enjoy reading about.

I,Coriander is a beautifully written book full of description and intrigue. I read it in two days needless to say I couldnt put it down! The chapters are short and snappy. If you enjoy history thrown together with fairy magic, sorcery and the lives of Coriander and her step sister Hester this is a book for you. It's totally different from any book I have read before but I'm glad I gave it a try.

I saw this book on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a try. This book is a good mix of crime and romance, set in Singapore which the main character Leah returns to when her father mysteriously dies. This is a novel that is full of suspence, you wont even realise just how hooked you are on it. If you like a novel that is packed full of action and suspense than this is definately the book for you. I wont saw much about the plot so I dont ruin it, but it is one that will defiantely capture your attention, it is incredibly well written.

I found this story of the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a go. It was a very well written novel, it did have a few spelling mistakes and grammer mistakes which lost it a star with me, but the book did keep hold of my attention right through until the very end.
This book features the character of Thomas Bladen who work on the surveillence unit of the British Government, during his usual routine of checking the cameras he see's a shooting which opens up a world of danger. It is a really great debut novel for Derek Thompson, the characters are all well developed which adds great depth too the novels and makes you really feel like you know them.

I thought that the storyline was a very interesting one and definately one that I could get lost into easily and I wasn't dissappointed, it was a fantastic read! It is incredibly well written by a very talented author.
A book about a Zombie Plague....definately my kind of read, it is set Edinburgh which is very well described, you can actually picture in your imagination the old crumbling city with it's secret garden and hidden communities. It drew me in straight away and when I was away from it, it played on my mind which kept drawing me back to it to find out what happens next.
I am extremely grateful to the author for being given the chance to read this incredible book I would/will definately read more by Mark Wilson!. This book is a must read!

I saw the cover of this book and thought that it looked really good as it is a very eye catching cover. As soon as I purchased it I dived right into reading it....then spent about 3/4 of the book being totally baffled and confused as to what was going on and what was happening. But I kept going, determined to finishing it, hoping all will become clear at the end of the novel with all the lose ends being tied up.. however I finished the book and still felt totally confused. I would do a review about what happened but honestly I've still no idea. However the characters in the novel were well described and you could pick out who was talking by the personalities that came through there voice. Jake Arnott is a very good and talented author, I just think that perhaps this book just wasnt for me. But I'd recommend giving it a try if the blurb sounds like your kind of book!

I found this book on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a go :) I thought that this was a very good thriller book written by a very talented author Rachel Amphlett. This is a book that doesn't have any dull moments, it has an interesting storyline that will make you want to read it. The characters that she has in the book as realistic, easy to understand and get along with, they are interesting and each bring something to the book. The story is easy to follow without too many overly complicated words so it is fine for young adult readers as well. It is a very well written book, with a very unique story, i would say that it is a modern thriller. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and it would definately be worth the money to buy it.

I was hooked on this book before I read it by the front cover. It tells of the story of the conquest of Britain by William the Conqueror and the commission of the sewing of the tapestry by Bishop Odo of Bayeux, William's brother depicting the story of the battle.

This book is superbly written in exquisite detail. The story touches on the unlikely romance between Odo and Gytha handmaiden of the fallen Saxon King Harold. I feel as though I have survived the harsh winters with Gytha and the other seamstresses and know their lives inside and out, their triumphs and sorrows. This book was certainly intriguing and I couldn't put it down. It's not a period of history I usually read about, opting for the tudors, but it was well worth going down a different path.

Everytime I thought I had work the plot out I was proved wrong. Having never read a Sarah Bower book before I would certainly read more of her works. I definately recommend this book.

Its good for a quick read if you don't have long in the day to fit any reading in. I thought the characters were good and the author set the scene very well. This story is about what happens if you try to practice magic in an office to help you lose weight. This may be a short novella but it still makes you laugh in places.

Each of the stories were pretty quick to read which is great if you love thrillers but don't have much spare time to read, these little reads will definately fed your hunger for a good thriller story.

I found this version on the Kindle Store for free and so I thought that I would give it a go as I have always wanted to read it. It is a classic story that I think all readers should read at some stage of their life, this version wasn't particularly very good (kindle version) but it is still a classic good tale that is fun to read. I did enjoy reading it as I love books with Dracula in, but I did think that the kindle version could have been edited alittle bit better there were alot of spelling mistakes and grammer mistakes.

such a good and funny childrens book, I remember reading this book when I was younger and I couldn't stop laughing at it. Dav Pilkey has a way of writing that connects to the reader and makes them feel like they are part of it and part of the adventure. I loved this series as a child and I think alot of children will enjoy it, if they aren't very good at reading this book will still be great for them with it been like a comic strip.
