I received this novel for free through GoodReads FirstReads competitions.
I thought that this was an absolutely brilliant novel to read, I really enjoyed it and didn't really want it to end, it is a very entertaining novel to read. The descriptive words that the other uses really help to capture the readers attention and to keep hold of it right through until the end of the novel. The characters that feature in the book (Maya and Rick) are very realistic and are very easy to get along with and like.
It is a very good modern romance tale that that flows nicely and keeps the same pace through out meaning that there isn't a part where you want to put the book down or even consider stopping reading it. Sparks soon fly between Maya and Rick as it shows that opposites do attract. This is the first book I had read by Nicci Carrera but it most certainly will not be the last one! I think I have most definitely found myself a new author to love. Definitely worth the 4star rating! I don't want to say much about the plot of the story as it would ruin it for you I would rather you read the novel as it is the most wonderful novel that I have read.
